Tony Joseph
Tony Joseph, CEO and co-founder of Mindworks, is one of India’s most respected editors. He is highly regarded for his conceptualization of media products, their strategic positioning and efficient management of editorial operations.
Before heading Mindworks, Tony Joseph was the Editor of Businessworld, India’s largest-selling business magazine, for eight years. He repositioned the publication, changed its frequency from fortnightly to weekly, and took it from the third position to the top in a competitive market.
Earlier, he was associate editor with Business Standard, the highly respected financial daily, and features editor with The Economic Times, India’s largest-selling business newspaper. He has been in the media industry for 25 years.
Tony is known for creating and leading large editorial teams. He launched several specialized publications for Business Standard on management, corporate finance, technology and lifestyle.
As CEO of Mindworks, Tony drives strategy and relationships with international media clients. He is responsible for the overall performance of the company.
Nitin Srivastava
Nitin Srivastava, chief operating officer and co-founder of Mindworks, brings expertise in technology, processes and product management to the company. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
Nitin became keenly interested in journalism and worked at the Business Standard, where he wrote extensively on strategy and management issues, and then at Businessworld magazine where he covered the economy.
Nitin was chief knowledge officer at Avendus Advisors, a startup technology investment bank. Here, he acquired skills in evangelizing startups and understanding the dynamics of new businesses.
At Mindworks, Nitin heads editorial and support operations.
Vikas Kaul
Vikas Kaul is chief marketing officer and co-founder of Mindworks. He works with clients closely to create compelling offshoring business propositions.
Vikas has worked with several publications in India including the Business Standard, Global, and international and trade publications. He has an in-depth knowledge of finance, business, management and technology.
Over the past five years, Vikas has been involved with the creation of editorial products targeting niche readership segments such as the venture capital and the private equity communities, CIOs and CTOs, automobile and technology enthusiasts, and supply chain professionals.
Mala Bhargava
Mala is editorial director at Mindworks and handles training for the company. She has more than 10 years of experience in the technology publishing industry in India. Mala has worked with CyberMedia, where she conceptualized and was the editor of India's first home computing and digital lifestyle magazine. She has considerable experience with developing editorial teams and positioning a publication that addresses rapidly changing audience needs.
Mala also wrote a highly popular personal technology column for Businessworld, India's largest circulated business magazine.
A trained psychologist, Mala is also in charge of personal development for Mindworks' editorial teams.
Shagan Mukherjee
Shagan Mukherjee is head of design services at Mindworks. He has over 23 years of experience in design in the print media and has broad-ranging skills in many aspects of design.
Shagan has worked with many leading publications including India Today, the Indian Express and the Business Standard. He has extensive experience with building design teams for newspapers, magazines and books.
At Mindworks, Shagan is responsible for the execution of design and layout, and design quality for all editorial projects.
Roshun Povaiah
Roshun is deputy managing editor at Mindworks and directs several copy desk and content development projects.
Working with both print and television, Roshun has more than 10 years of experience with the media. He was deputy news editor at CNBC-TV18, where he was producer of India’s top business show, India Business Hour. He also helped set up two sister channels for the company. At CNN-IBN he was part of the team that set up the business desk and at South Asia World, he looked after overall production.
Roshun also worked with advertising and marketing magazine A&M, where he led the editorial team and created special editorial sections. He has also written on automobiles, technology and e-business.
